Ralph Peters on Pakistan

Good Ralph Peters article on Pakistan. I find little with which to disagree. The fact of the matter is, as Peters notes, that aside from rampant corruption the leading Pakistani democratic governments have essentially been ethnic interest groups who have universally refused to govern for the country as a whole. The fact that Benazir Bhutto doesn't wear a uniform that looks like something out of Imperial Britain and also doesn't have a moustache and a face like a slapped arse doesn't alter the fact that her democratic credentials don't add up to much more than maintaining a tyranny of the majority while lining her own pockets.
